TUESDAY, APR. 28, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Tuesday Tasks.

WEDNESDAY, APR 29, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Red Cross Blood Drive.

THURSDAY, APR. 30, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Auxiliary Sewing Group.

1:00 pm, table setup for Veterans First Friday breakfast and Loyalty Day Flag Retirement ceremony.

FRIDAY, MAY 1, LOYALTY DAY.

8:30 am, Rivershore Veterans 1st Friday Breakfast. All veterans welcome.

10:00 am, Loyalty Day Flag Retirement Ceremony.

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Honor Guard duties at Willamette National Cemetery.

SATURDAY, MAY 2, VFW NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE.

9:00 am to 12 pm, park cleanup for National Day of Service for Post 1324 at Mary S. Young Park, 19900 Willamette Dr, West Linn, OR 97068.

 

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

 

1. On May 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, our Post will participate in the VFW National Day of Service at Mary S. Young Park in West Linn. As the Post has reached 101% in membership, this event next Saturday fulfills the final requirement for our Post to be recognized as an All-American Post for the sixth consecutive year.

We encourage all Post members to attend and contribute to this significant achievement.

2. Department Convention Update: Registration for the Department Convention is now open via the Department website at www.vfwor.org, where comprehensive details are available. We invite you to attend any of the scheduled events, including business sessions, the joint memorial service, election of state officials (with your current Post Commander seeking the position of State Sr. Vice Commander), training classes, banquet awards, vendor exhibits, and networking opportunities.

The convention will be held at Salem Convention Center, 200 Commercial St. SE, Salem, OR.
