MONDAY, AUG 3, 2:30 pm, Honor Guard at Willamette National Cemetary
7:00 pm, BSA Troop 220 meeting.
TUESDAY, AUG 4, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Tuesday Tasks.
(A list of priorities of work will be provided)
WEDNESDAY, AUG 5, 6:00 pm, Building / Scheduling / Officers meeting
THURSDAY, AUG 6, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Auxiliary Sewing Group.
FRIDAY, AUG 7, 7:00 am to 10:00 am, Veterans First Friday Breakfast
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Honor Guard duties at Willamette National Cemetery.
SATURDAY, AUG 8, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Officer Training School at Post #293
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
1. Any member that would like to have a VFW name tag, text or call the Post at (503) 655-6969 for more information.
2. Our esteemed colleague, Ron Emerson has faithfully and dutifully chaired the Post 1324 Honor Guard for more than 5 years. Ron is asking for a new person to take control of the honor guard. Contact Ron or the post phone @ 503-655-6969 to learn what the honor guard chairperson does.
3. VFW Department is asking for volunteers for the following events;
a. McMinnville Air Show (14-16 Aug @ McMinnville Airport)
b. Oregon State Fair (28 Aug-7 Sep in Salem)
c. Rose City Comicon (11-13 Sep in Portland)
d. Pendleton Roundup Cowboy Breakfast & Recruiting booth (16-19 Sep in Pendleton)
